Our Story

Jamiela has always had an interest in the way people experience life and how some thrive whilst others experience suffering. This interest in people's mental health has been harnessed over the last decade through 7 years of Psychology undergraduate and postgraduate studies, working across multiple areas of mental health, supporting people in their recovery, ongoing supervision, mentoring and professional development to improve her ability to provide high quality treatment and intervention.

Jamiela finds that all people have extraordinary ways to survive and thrive despite their exposure to stress and trauma. A central component of Jamiela's approach is to assist people in resolving any symptoms that compromise their mental health and to help people identify and enhance their strengths. Jamiela finds joy and meaning in helping people develop their own meaningful path in life that aligns with their values, needs and goals.
